International or domestic travel is an exciting adventure that is filled with uncertainty and unpredictability. One might arrive at their destination….....A personal medical emergency may require hospitalization or medical evacuation. Travel insurance is especially important to cover individuals against unforeseen events that may impact their plans. A trip can take a year to prepare for, but only a second to ruin. While we can’t predict what will happen, we can provide coverage to cover some of the losses insureds may incur.
Short-Term Travel insurance is available to employees, retirees, approved volunteers, or groups on official business or sponsored travel of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Spouses and dependent children of these individuals are also eligible for coverage. This program covers travel worldwide and includes coverage for limited vacation travel when combined with a business or sponsored trip. Short-Term Travel insurance provides coverage for trip cancellation, travel interruptions, emergency medical expenses, medical evacuation costs, and delayed baggage. ARM works along with AIG to provide 24-hour access to physicians, nurses, and hospitals globally in the event there is a medical emergency while on a covered trip. This policy contains limitations and exclusions and may not cover high risk, physical hazards. You may purchase coverage for medical expenses for illness or injury while on a covered trip with limits from $140,000 up to $500,000. AD&D coverage is available with limits from $5,000 up to $100,000. Medical evacuation limits are available up to $500,000, while repatriation limits are available up to $500,000.

They participate in exciting adventures, discovering new frontiers while impacting the lives of the many they meet. The North American Division recognizes the significant contributions that they are making and has partnered with Adventist Risk Management and other insurance partners to provide coverage for U.S. residents participating in Taskforce/1-year Mission opportunities for U.S. The Miscellaneous Accident Insurance policy provides taskforce workers with Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefits up to $50,000 and medical expense benefits up to $25,000. Eligibility includes the North American Division and subsidiary institutions and organization members for whom applications has been made. Volunteer Labor Insurance is an affordable, effective way to manage Volunteer Accident Risk. Volunteer Accident Insurance for General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is specifically designed for volunteers like you. Volunteer Labor provides for all covered persons performing voluntary labor and services for a named member institution of the Policyholder as shown in the Policy, provided such labor has been duly authorized by the Local Pastor, a Denominational Conference employed individual, the head Elder at the local church, recognized official or administrator of the insured institution. Benefits for AD&D are available up to $50,000, accident medical expense are available up to $50,000 along with weekly accidental indemnity benefit up to $375.
